A very popular and effective essential oil is named melaleuca, which is better known as tea tree oil. This oil is a fantastic aid for a myriad of issues. It is a well-known antiseptic and can be a great line of defense for different types of wounds. It is an incredibly potent oil that has been known to be a powerful force against many fungi, bacteria and viruses. There are so many ways that tea tree oil can be used in a plethora of circumstances. Here are some of the ways in which this oil is deeply effective.
Acne
Dealing with those pesky blemishes can be more than just an inconvenience. It can completely lower self esteem and make it hard to want to be seen by others. Especially for those who deal with chronic acne, wanting to finally achieve a clear face can feel like something unrealistic. Well, with tea tree oil, a remedy for your acne may be much closer than you think. This is one of the most popular uses for tea tree oil. A recent study found that tea tree oil is almost as effective at fighting acne as benzoyl peroxide. Do use the oil with caution as it's very strong in concentration. Adding a couple of drops to your cleanser or face mask will be enough.
Dandruff
Many people deal with this type of fungi on their scalp. It can be caused by many different things but ultimately getting rid of it is on the minds of all sufferers. Tea tree oil has been proven to have the ability to heal and sooth the flaking skin of the scalp that causes dandruff. You can easily make homemade dandruff shampoos if you notice that little white flakes have started to infiltrate your scalp. Use natural ingredients like coconut milk, lavender oil, aloe vera and tea tree oil to make a shampoo that will eradicate your dandruff problem quickly and effectively.
Eczema And Psoriasis
These skin conditions can be real troublesome to deal with because patches of flaky, inflamed skin show up on random parts of the body. While no one can pinpoint exactly what causes these conditions, it is believed that they are closely related to auto immunity. So the immune system is compromised in some way which causes these problems that the skin exhibits. Mix just a teaspoon of coconut oil with a few drops of tea tree and lavender oil to make a salve for the affected patches of skin. Try this every day for at least a weak and be amazed at how your patches will be minimized.
Tea tree oil has so many amazing uses. It can be used as a deodorizer, in cleaning products, massage oils, and skin and hair creams. An oil that is this versatile should definitely be kept on hand at all times. You'll have so many new and exciting ways to use it. Instead of having a bunch of different products, have one that can effectively tackle many different issues.
