Maidir le hOlaí Bitheolaíocha

Tá an crann olóige agus ola olóige luaite ar fud na Bíobla. Sa scéal faoi Nóe agus an t-uisce millteanach mór, filleann an colm ar an Arca ag iompar géag olóige, agus déantar na hola a úsáidtear chun daoine a oilithriú agus a leigheas ar fud na Bíobla as ológa.[10]

Mar luibh an Iarthair, níl stair fhada ag baint léi maidir le húsáid thraidisiúnta i leigheas Ayurvedic nó leigheas traidisiúnta Síneach. Is féidir ola olóige a úsáid i massage Ayurvedic, áit a mheasann sí mar ola téamh a spreagfaidh an dosha Kapha, a bhfuil comhdhéanamh ola, fionnuar, trom, mall agus réidh aici.[31]
